DIY Wire Cloche Workshop
At Bellevue Botanical Garden, Aaron Center
Taught by Tere Kaulfus, President of the Northwest Perennial Alliance. In this hands-on workshop you will learn how to make the wire cloches NPA uses in the Perennial Border at Bellevue Botanical Garden to keep rabbits from eating the plants. They make great plant supports too!
Once you learn the wiring skills, you can make them any size and style that suits you, creating something worthy of a place in your garden. We will supply everything you need to make one medium-sized cloche, and you will receive a materials list with information on suppliers and tools.
NPA Members - $24.50
Non-Members - $35.00
Class is limited to 24 participants. The fee for this class is non-refundable. If cancelled by NPA, you will receive a full refund.
Participants will be using sharp tools and wire and will be required to sign a liability waiver upon arrival. While taught at Bellevue Botanical Garden, this is an NPA Workshop. Please direct any questions to info@northwestperennialalliance.org.
