‘A Handmade Garden’ with Lorene Edwards Forkner

Pre-Registration is Required - Opens January 1st

2021 NPA members are FREE / Non-members $15

NPA invites you to join Lorene Edwards Forkner as she shares unique garden ideas based on her best-selling book, Handmade Garden Projects, which shows how to transform your garden into a handmade, personality-infused oasis.  As Lorene explains: “I’m a handmade gardening gal – part eco-friendly, non-traditionalist, part crafty creative with more ideas than money. My garden is my canvas, my vision, and my voice. A place where I am free of all rules, except those of Nature herself. It’s where I make my unique mark on the world.”

Lorene Edwards Forkner lives a garden-based life in the Pacific Northwest, specifically in an old house near the beach in West Seattle. Her garden is a living workshop and testing ground to pursue seasonal pleasures, delicious flavors, and creative experimentation.

Lorene’s garden journey includes owning and operating a small specialty nursery, years as a garden designer, author of five garden books, garden speaker, and as feature writer of the weekly GROW column in the Seattle Times Pacific Magazine. We’re sure you’ll find plenty of inspiration from Lorene’s presentation to create your own special handmade garden project, and January is the perfect time to plan a new project!
