Phlomis samia Jerusalem Sage Flower Color- Pink. Pale, creamy pink, pink-brownish. Flower Shape and Structure - Flowers born in whorls of 10-20 blossoms around stem, flowers are tubular, hood shaped and 2 lipped. Flower Size - Less than 1-inch, 1-3 inches Bloom Time- May, June, July, August Foliage - Indumentum, Leaf, Tomentum. Pointed oval leaves to 8'', toothed edges. Grey-green wooly, stinky leaves. Fall Interest - Fruit/Berry/Seed. Seed heads. Attractive seedheads after flowering. Plant type - Evergreen, Perennial Natural Range - North Africa, Europe, West Asia. Habit and Form - Irregular/Other, Spreading. Clump forming. Height - 2-4 feet. About 40". Spread - 2-4 feet. 4-5 feet. Water Requirements - Drought tolerant, Less than average moisture.
