In addition to his devotion to family and personal gardening pursuits, Steve is kept busy teaching classes on Creative Writing and Poetry at North Seattle Community College and his business, Lorton Communications.  He has been recognized for his important contributions and achievements by organizations including the State's Master Gardener Program, the Washington Park Arboretum, and NHS as well as horticultural publications and television segments.   Steve is a treasure of knowledge and experience; we look forward to a very entertaining afternoon and Lakewold Gardens in full bloom!
