NPA Lectures

NPA members enjoy four free lectures a year, plus just $5 for the annual Nicolay Lecture in April.

NPA lectures are held at the Center for Urban Horticulture (CUH). Driving directions. CUH offers plenty of free parking. Doors open at noon for plant and seed sales, and refreshments.

Be sure to bring your NPA card to get in free. Spouses are included in your membership, so they get in free, too. You’re also welcome to bring a friend—nonmembers pay $10. Not a member? You can join at the door or join now.

The meeting begins at 1 pm with a drawing for door prizes. This is followed by brief announcements about NPA events, then the lecture itself, which usually lasts an hour.

Nicolay Memorial Lecture

This lecture, usually in spring, features a celebrity speaker and costs $5 for NPA members/$10 for nonmembers. Kevin Nicolay was one of the founders of NPA. Read more about Kevin.
